Lenten Suppers
April 6, 2011

The fourth of the Lenten Suppers attracted 17 Parishioners and clergy who watched an interesting program on the Passion of St. Perpetua. St. Perpetua was martyred around 201 A.D. along with several other companions.

The content of the program was based on the diary that St. Perpetua kept while imprisoned and details the life of the early Christian martyr and how she and others faced their persecutors.

Those attending the Lenten Program were treated to a soup and bread supper with cole slaw hosted by Jo Cunningham and Judi Hammond.

The supper and program were preceded by our usual Wednesday 5:30 Service of Holy Communion.

Our next Lenten Supper Program will be the Prophesies of the Passion.

Prior to the Supper, we were entertained by two baby squirrels. The littlest had a fancy for Fr. Alexander and even tried to climb up his leg.
