Parish Workday & Picnic June 4, 2011 On a very warm Saturday morning, June 4th to be exact, 23 Parishioners and clergy came together to put our church yard into shipshape condition. They pulled weeds, pruned, trimmed, cut, and hacked shrubbery and over-growth. The pruned limbs off some of the smaller trees. They laughed and sweated and were finally rewarded with a fantastic picnic lunch. A thank you to all who joined in, especially to Lena Whittaker and Bob Storey who manned the grills and produced perfectly cooked brats and burgers. Aside from the "chefs," lending their talents, muscle, and perspiration were: Sara & Mike Wood, Kathy Clark, Chris Roberts, Stephen & Mardena Boyko, David & Connie Beveridge, Alan Wingard, Dn. Davies, Gabby & Andy Philipp, Phoebe Marshall, Forrest & Carol Sue Roberts, Jan Jenkins, Fr. George & Betty Alexander, Jack & Pat Miller, and Larry Byers.
